Mi Cupido Latino is an American-based website, predominantly aimed at the Latino community worldwide.
The principal goal of our client was to increase membership. We therefore needed to create a design that not only had sex appeal, but also style and sophistication. Users of online dating services can often feel vulnerable or intimidated, so it was important to create a sexy, yet safe and trustworthy atmosphere.
We redesigned the logo and then incorporated this high-impact style into the rest of the website design. The designers remained focused on sex appeal and sophistication while also keeping usability in mind. The result encourages users to develop and maintain their own profiles within the site and interact with other users.
Connaxis fully integrated the new web design with the client’s existing application, Smarty Templating System. We corrected some usability and navigational issues making the online experience easier and more enjoyable for the user. All of the validated xHTML templates were coded following W3C standards and cross-browser compatibility.
