Italy´s finest vacation rentals needed a redesign to achive a higher conversion rate on its already impressive visitor numbers.
Pascal van Duynhoven, owner of Italy’s finest vacation rentals website Italy Unique came to Connaxis with clear goals in mind. He told us that he wanted to increase conversions to more than 5 per day within 2 months, extending that to an increase of 30-50 per day within 12 months.
An analysis of the existing website showed that it was not user friendly nor did it encourage exploration of the site. The navigation did not aid the user to find a suitable vacation rental and the overall design did not reflect the premium vacation rental service that Pascal wanted to offer.
Connaxis began by designing a homepage with many calls to action encouraging the user to search for a property. We enhanced the website with the use of Flash design. An interactive map of Italy allows the user to browse properties by region. The new design shows off the elegance of Italy Unique’s property listing and better reflects the corporate image of the company.
