Jac Hensen is a well known Dutch clothing retailer. They wanted to open up their online sales channel and decided a that they needed to integrate a webshop into their corporate webshop. Connaxis implemented this E-Commerce platform based on the popular open source Magento platform.
Jac Hensen has a number of physical stores, which are concentrated mainly in the eastern part of the Netherlands. To open up the online channel, they needed an E-Commerce platform, which also had to communicate with their existing ERP software. Another challenge was to create a design that adhered to corporate standards, which was new and refreshing at the same time.
Connaxis implemented the E-Commerce site using the popular open source Magento platform. This platform comes with extensive standard functionality and a very complete back-office. As such, Magento formed a perfect basis for the implementation fo Jac Henson's solution. Furthermore, we developed custom functionality, which included integration with existing ERP software.
This E-Commerce website has brought the results Jac Hensen expected: the design is original while classy, the design transmits the correct corporate image, and the webshop has generated new revenues. As well, the link with the back office software ensures that the stock information is always up-to-date.
